Why merino wool?

You may have thought that merino wool is a fabric intended for winter, sports and hiking. Yes, but that's not all 🙂 Why not to use the exceptional properties of this natural fabric in summer, when traveling and at work? What are the properties of merino wool?

Soft

Merino fibers come from merino sheep and are thinner and softer than regular wool. Thanks to this, you will feel comfortable in our clothes all day long, or even for a week 😉

Thermoregulation

Unlike synthetics, merino wool is an active fiber that responds to changes in body temperature and the environment, helping to keep you comfortable. Not only does it insulate you, it is also breathable. Simply put, merino wool keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Antibacterial

Merino wool's unique ability to deal with moisture leads to another benefit, namely preventing the creation of an environment in which bacteria would multiply rapidly and thus create an unpleasant odor.

Doesn't smell

....even after several wears. Thanks to the effective management of the microclimate between the skin and the clothing, it is odor resistant. The clothing does not require frequent washing, making it your ideal travel companion.

Breathable

It effectively wicks sweat and moisture away from the body and evaporates it into the external environment. Merino can absorb moisture up to 35% of its weight without you feeling damp and clinging to your skin.

Naturally elastic

Merino wool adapts to the shape of your body. It is elastic and returns to its original shape after stretching. You will appreciate this during sports, but also during your daily commutes.

Merino wool absorbs UV radiation and provides unparalleled protection compared to other textiles.

Natural fabric

We use only 100% merino wool, with no synthetic fibers. It is biodegradable and renewable. Under the right conditions, it only takes a few months to decompose.

Fair conditions

Our materials meet the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) and ÖkoTex 100, which guarantees that they do not contain any harmful chemicals or residues. The RWS standard concerns the welfare of the sheep as well as the land on which they graze. The wool comes from farms that have a progressive approach to managing their land and respect and ensure the welfare of the sheep. The certification ensures social security, suitable working conditions and protection of the health and safety of workers. The entire chain is taken into account - from the farm to the final product <3
